Nordic Apartments
Resort: El Tarter • Ski Area: Grandvalira
Nordic Apartments are a really good option for guests who want the slope-side location and shared facilities of the Nordic complex, but with a bit more space and flexibility than a standard hotel room. Set right by the slopes in El Tarter and internally connected to Hotel Nordic, they work especially well for families and small groups who like the idea of apartment-style living without giving up the convenience of half board. All stays include breakfast and dinner served in the Hotel Nordic restaurant next door, reached through the internal corridor.
The apartments are around 55m² and sleep up to four people, with most laid out as one bedroom with two single beds and two individual sofa beds in the lounge. That extra living space makes a real difference on a ski holiday, especially if you are travelling with children or just do not want everyone squeezed into one room. They have a cosy mountain style and come with a living area, dining table, TV, safe and a kitchenette with fridge, hob, oven, microwave and basic utensils for light food preparation.
One of the big advantages here is that apartment guests can use the shared facilities of Hotel Nordic, so you still get that full holiday-base feel rather than just a place to sleep. Free WiFi is included, and guests have access to the indoor pool, jacuzzi, hammam and gym, with other facilities in the complex including lounges, games areas and bowling.
Why guests like it:
Guests like Nordic Apartments because they give you the best of both worlds. You get more room and a bit of self-catering flexibility, but without losing the convenience of a larger ski hotel with half board and shared leisure facilities. For families in particular, they make a lot of sense, as everyone can spread out a bit more while still being right by the slopes in El Tarter.
Good to know:
All stays in the apartments include half board, with breakfast and dinner taken in Hotel Nordic. Most apartments sleep up to four and are usually set up with two single beds in the bedroom plus two sofa beds in the lounge. The kitchen area is intended for light food preparation rather than full cooking, which is worth knowing if you are expecting a fully self-catering setup.
