Hotel Micolau is one of those smaller Arinsal hotels that feels much more personal than a standard ski base. Set in one of the village’s older buildings and just a short walk from the Arinsal gondola, it has a warm mountain feel with plenty of character, while still being right in the heart of village life. It is a good fit for guests who want somewhere friendly, low-key and easy rather than a larger hotel with lots of extra fuss.

The rooms are cosy rather than oversized, but they are well thought out and comfortable, with Twin Rooms, Double Rooms with Balcony and Family Rooms available. Free WiFi, Smart TV, a free safe and ski storage are all included, which keeps the ski-week basics nice and straightforward. Breakfast is served buffet style, and the hotel’s California Grill adds another nice touch if you want an easy meal back at the hotel later on.

The hotel can also work well for group bookings, as there are Family Rooms alongside Twin and Double options, so it is worth asking if you are looking at taking over a larger part of the property.
