Hotel Casado
Resort: Pas De La Casa • Ski Area: Grandvalira
Hotel Casado is a really handy base in Pas de la Casa if you want to keep the ski part of the trip simple. It sits just 50 metres from the slopes, so getting onto Grandvalira is quick and easy, while the bars, shops and restaurants of the resort are all right on your doorstep. Even with that central location, it has a more relaxed, low-key feel than some of the busier spots in Pas, which gives it a nice balance for a ski stay.
The rooms are simple, comfortable and well suited to a straightforward week in the mountains. Alongside Double or Twin Rooms and Triple Rooms, the hotel also has Family Rooms and larger family options on request, so it works for couples, friends and families alike. Across the range, rooms include private bathrooms, heating, free WiFi, flat-screen TV, desk and safe, with private ski storage available too.
The hotel also keeps the useful bits covered once you are back from skiing. There is a buffet breakfast each morning, a snack café bar, and a shared lounge with TV, which all add to that easy, no-fuss ski-holiday rhythm. It is not about flashy extras here, more about comfort, convenience and a very strong location.
Why guests like it:
Guests tend to like Hotel Casado because it makes life easy. You are very close to the slopes, right in the centre of Pas de la Casa, and the hotel has a quieter, more relaxed feel than you might expect from such a central spot. It is a good fit for couples, friends and families who want a practical ski base with everything close at hand.
Good to know:
Room choice is worth checking here, as the hotel has options ranging from Double or Twin Rooms through to Family Rooms for 5 and a larger family setup for up to 7.
