🧒 Pal Arinsal Children’s Ski Lessons – Tiny Boots. Big Adventures.

Welcome to Pal Arinsal, where the ski school knows what every parent wants: happy kids, safe slopes, and tired little legs by 4pm.

Whether your child’s just learning what snow is, or they’re already pizza-frying their way down greens, this is the fun-first training ground where snow confidence is born.

❄️ What’s the Snow Garden?

Think of it as ski kindergarten with attitude — designed for children aged 3 to 5. It’s where tiny skiers are introduced to the mountain through play-based lessons, gentle slopes, and games that teach turning, sliding and the oh-so-importantart of standing back up.

🏔️ Where is it?

  • Pal Sector – La Caubella

  • Arinsal Sector – Comallemple

⏰ Timetable

  • Morning Session: 10:00–13:00

  • Afternoon Session: 14:00–17:00

You can book either or both depending on your plans (and your ski legs).

🧤 What’s included?

  • Certified instructors in child-sized ratios

  • Ski-focused games and intro technique

  • A secure, fenced-off learning area

  • Fun equipment: mini slopes, figures, cones & colours

❗FAQ tip: Kids must have ski gear, helmet, and outerwear. The Snow Garden does not include equipment, meals, or ski passes — but we can help sort all that at Andorra Travel Service.

🏃 What’s the Kids Program?

For children aged 3 to 11, this is the full-day snow mission — combining ski school with epic fun off the slopes.

📆 Full-Day Itinerary

  • 10:00–13:00: Group ski lessons

  • 13:00–14:00: Lunch break

  • 14:00–16:00: Snow activities and après-adventure

🎉 Afternoon fun includes:

  • Tubing

  • Igloo-building

  • Snowshoeing

  • Sledging

  • And yes… enough excitement to make them fall asleep before you’ve even finished your G&T

💡 FAQ tip: Ski equipment and lift passes are not included in the Kids Program — but you can book them easily (and at a discount) through Andorra Travel Service when packaging it with lessons.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Why do parents love it?

  • Safety-first: Fenced learning zones, small groups, expert instructors.

  • Flexibility: Book half days or full days depending on your ski itinerary.

  • Happy kids = happy holiday: Whether they’re 3 or 11, they’re going to make friends, laugh loudly, and come home talking about the "massive jump" they conquered (which may have been 10cm high).

🎿 Got a little skier with zero experience?

Perfect. The Snow Garden and Kids Program are built for it. The first step is sliding. The second step is smiling. Everything else comes naturally.

🎯 Who’s this for?

  • Parents who want ski time without a toddler clinging to their knee

  • Families with siblings of different ages/abilities

  • Kids who thrive in social learning environments

  • Anyone who believes snow days are better when shared

👶 First Time on Skis? Here's What Parents Actually Want to Know

🗓️ What’s the best age to start skiing?

Three is the magic number. That’s when kids can officially join the Snow Garden at Pal Arinsal — and no, it’s not too young. At this age, they’re already learning to balance, shuffle in ski boots, and giggle their way through snowplough practice.

It’s not about Olympic turns — it’s about building confidence, curiosity, and snow-loving grins.

🧸 When can young children really start learning?

The moment they hit 3 years old, it’s game on. The Snow Garden blends skiing and play, using themed areas, mini obstacles, and instructors who are part coach, part snow wizard. It’s a gentle, progressive intro — designed for ages 3 to 5— where fun comes first and falling over is part of the joy.

⏳ How long does it take for a child to learn to ski?

Depends on the child — and how many hot chocolates they demand per hour — but most kids start to get the hang of it after just a few days. With 2 to 5-day lesson options, many are already turning and stopping with basic control by the end of their first week.

⏱️TL;DR: It’s not a race. It’s a confidence-building, snow-rolling, memory-making adventure.

🎿 What does a child need for ski school?

Here’s your must-pack kit:

  • ✅ A valid ski pass for lesson days (we’ll help you bundle this)

  • ✅ Skis, boots and a helmet (required – not included)

  • ✅ Warm waterproof clothing — jacket, salopettes, gloves

  • ✅ Sunglasses or goggles + sunscreen (yes, even when it’s snowing)

  • ✅ And most importantly… an excitement level that’s off the charts
